Boyz II Men arrive on The Dini Petty Show in February 1992, one week after winning their first American Music Award and months before they became the biggest group in the world. All four original members — including Michael McCary — tell the story of how it really began: walking up to Michael Bivins backstage, asking “can we sing,” and harmonizing “Can You Stand the Rain” for a corner packed with stars.
