The Dini Petty Show is the longest-running talk show in Canadian television history. Often referred to as “Canada’s Oprah,” host Dini Petty earned six Can Pro Awards, four Gemini Award nominations, and a NATPE International Iris Award for a one-hour interview with Red Skelton. Broadcast nationally on CTV from 1989 to 1999, the show produced 1,792 hour-long episodes filmed before a live audience in Toronto, with additional episodes from cities across Canada.
